ZMPC9 Challenger Brackets.

This is a king of the hill style game. The Goal is to challenge people above you and take their rank. You can challenge anybody within your Bracket (Labeled: Top 10, Top 20, etc.)

If your rank is colored orange you may Challenge anyone from the bracket Directly above you.

​

If you are not an orange rank, you can challenge people within your bracket and accept challenges from brackets directly below you, but you cannot challenge the bracket above you.

​

(For example. Orange Ranked Top 30 can challenge anyone from the Top 20 Bracket but cannot challenge anyone from the Top 10 Bracket.)

Challenge Rules

To take somebodies rank you need to challenge them and win 3 out of 5 matches. (Rule Set Will be the same as the official rule set)

For the challenge to be valid, both parties need to agree with a third-party witness. The third-party witness must witness the agreement and the entire match.

​

A player can choose to decline a challenge if:

• Playing conditions are not Tournament quality or rules.

• Lack of sufficient controllers.

• A player has already completed an official challenger match that same day.

• A player is being heckled into a match by a mob.

• A player’s main character is not available in the roster.

• A player has participated in a tournament that same day.

 

If a player intentionally avoids all challenges, they will be subject to a rank drop. (Determined by the Smash Board)

If there are some questionable actions done by any of the participants. Report it to the Board to settle the ranking.

If a player does not participate in any challenge that month, they will automatically drop a rank. If a player does not participate in any challenge for two months, they will automatically drop two ranks. (So, on and so forth) If a player does not participate in any challenge for more then 12 months. Player will be kicked off the brackets and will have to start from the lowest bracket if they start again.

Signing Up for Challenger Brackets

The Challenger Brackets is free to sign up. Follow the sign-up form. When choosing to sign you may pick anybody at any rank to challenge to try and take their rank. If you do not challenge anybody within a month you will be placed at the lowest rank. Someone may request to be removed from the challenger brackets at any time.
